Vintage tools - plane Y1281

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH smoothing PLANE that has some age to it. It looks to have been made out of FRENCH LIVE OAK.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 900g

Size: 210mm long x 55mm wide & with a 40mm cutter

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a few vacant worm holes. A nice laminated steel cutter. It's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
